Another Bihar man becomes ‘crorepati’ on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 5′
It’s raining millionaires on the show Kaun Banega Crorepati 5. After Sushil Kumar of Bihar, won the Rs 5 crore jackpot, the show got its second crorepati winner from the same state, in less than a week.
33-year-old Anil Kumar Sinha from Patna, who works as a manager with a prominent bank in Kolkata, won Rs 1 crore. The episode will be aired on November 9.
Anil, a quiz-enthusiast, and someone who is abreast with the current affairs, judiciously used all his lifelines. When it came to answering the question worth Rs 5 crore, he decided to quit as he wasn’t too sure of the answer.
“I am glad that I managed to answer all the questions correctly. It is all about one’s presence of mind,” Anil said. “I was very keen on participating in KBC, and I was trying to register in the show ever since it started way back in 2000. It finally happened and brought me all the luck,” he added.
Anil plans to construct a nursing home and trauma centre in Patna with the prize money. “I lost my younger brother in an accident. Timely medical aid could have saved him. I want to use this money to build an advanced-care hospital,” he said. Besides this, he also wants to build a house for his mother in Patna.
Amitabh Bachchan, who is extremely excited about two contestants consecutively winning the jackpot on the show, tweeted about the same. “Another day at KBC … Electrifying! Another CROREPATI today..and guess what .. from Bihar again.. it’s raining crorepati’s from there,” the superstar posted.
