PATNA: The state government has notified the constitution of Bihar State Industrial Investment Advisory Council which had been announced a few days back by chief minister Nitish Kumar at an open house of entrepreneurs.
In order to create a platform for the Bihar diaspora in different parts of the world to invest in the state, Bihar Foundation would open its units in those countries.
Representatives of 12 countries are participating in this summit. All 14 chapters of the Bihar Foundation across the globe have been directed to get investors for the summit.
California and New Jersey in the US, Sydney in Australia, Seoul in South Korea, Qatar and Bahrain in the Gulf, besides Canada and Trinidad are the countries which will observe Bihar Day with pomp and grandeur.
Bihar Foundation, a state government initiative set up in January 2008 to get people settled outside the state to invest in Bihar, has 1.5 lakh members across 11 chapters in India, US, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, South Korea and Australia.
